Group Accountant and Corporate Finance

Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Group CFO and is responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly and year-end consolidation, group half-yearly SGX results announcement, group forecasts, budgets and year-end statutory accounts for the Group.
• Perform analytical review of subsidiary companies’ monthly financials.
• Assist with internal reporting to the Board and to external stakeholders such as corporate banks and shareholders.
• Optimize the Company’s capital structure through capital investments to earn the highest possible risk-adjusted return, capital financing, dividends & return of capital. 
• End-to-end preparation of the annual report.
• Liaise with auditors on all audit matters.
• Part of team responsible for establishing, reviewing and updating of group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified membership of recognized professional accounting body, with at least 3 years in accounting and finance related roles gained at either a listed group finance function or "Big 4" accountancy firms.
• Consolidation experience is a must.
• Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Income Tax Act.
• Independent, accurate, analytical.
• Able to manage working relationships across departments and with various levels of management.
