R&D Quality & IP Officer - with Growth Opportunities

Overview:
This position plays dual role in providing support for Unitized Materials' Halal affairs related matter as well as managing R&D Quality and Intellectual Property which refers but not limited to R&D documents, Research related contract, Policy, Standard Operating Procedures, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Trade Mark. This role ensures accurate information is rightfully prepared, maintained, safe kept & distributed throughout the organization (if applicable) in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate in UM Halal Management System. This includes Halal manual review, consolidating latest updated UM list across BUs and R&D, Internal Audit and MUIS audit.
2. Coordinate preliminary discussion on Unitised Material (UM) Costing and Commercial Recipe for work initiation at operation level.  
3. Assist in preparation & review of R&D and research related documents (NDA, Clinical Study Agreement, Working Instruction, Laboratory SOP etc.)
4. Support R&D special project to drive simplicity & efficiency (Quality, IP and R&D related)
5. Support food technologist in implementing digitalization of R&D data base - paperless halal application procedures, e-filing of project files.

Requirements:
1. Diploma or equivalent education qualification. Science related discipline is an added advantage.
2. A min. of 3 years' experience in food, pharmaceutical, bioscience, nutrition or cheical industry is preferred.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, proofreading and editing skills
4. Data & document organisation skill
5. Demonstrate good communication skills with a willingness to work in a team environment.
