Curriculum Executive (Chinese) - Opportunity to Make a Difference

A JOB ROLE

Assist development, implementation and evaluation of S4K Chinese curriculum. Provide in-house teacher training both local and overseas (upon request)

Programme Development

1. Plan S4K Chinese curriculum based on latest MOE’s guidelines, international best practices and S4K’s USP.
2. Assist in Chinese curriculum content writing for all levels i.e. Pre-Nursery, Nursery, K1 & K2.
3. Upgrade and fine-tune curriculum upon feedback.
4. Assist in development and production of Chinese curriculum materials including content and artwork
5. ·Assist in planning, developing and updating of Chinese curriculum manuals periodically.
6. Support research and ad hoc projects when applicable.

Training and Operational Support

1. Conduct in-house teacher training both locally and overseas.
2. Supervise and train respective appointed coordinators in the centres on curriculum content.
3. Support centres’ programme implementation.
4. Assist in half-yearly report on evaluation of programme implementation.
5. Visit centres periodically and provide report on curriculum implementation.
6. Provide recommendation on improvement in teaching, resources and setting up learning corners.

SPARK Accreditation Complement Support

1. Provide complementary support to direct centres in preparation for SPARK accreditation.
2. Work with respective appointed coordinators in the centres to identify centres’ needs in fulfilling professional requirements for SPARK accreditation.

B JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min. 5 years teaching experience (including Early Years)
• Degree in early childhood & HCIC (Higher Certificate in Infant Care)
• NEL Framework & QRS Knowledge
• Training Experience
• Preferably bilingual
