Procurement Executive - Start Immediately

Purchaser is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory fully stocked and supplied. His/her duties include to ensure that purchased orders and product quality are delivered by coordinating with warehouse and transport staff. Purchasers negotiate new contracts with existing and new vendors and suppliers with effective budgeting and costing.    

Job Descriptions 

• Responsible for entire sourcing process (local and overseas purchases)
• Perform Daily Operational including direct purchasing matters and co-ordinate shipping documentations (cargo permit)
• Monitoring of products inventory level, replenishment and internal fulfillment
• Issuing Purchase Order
• Liaising with Suppliers on delivery status 
• Liaising with Finance Dept regards to suppliers’ invoice and payment issues
• Maintain cost of product to ensure profitability 
• Forecasting stock supply and communicate with CS and Sales 
• Make decision on allocation or rationing during supply shortage
• Maintain accurate records of requisition and cost data
• Assist with evaluation of Suppliers’ performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices
• Ensuring that all purchasing activities with suppliers are carried out in accordance with the organization’s purchasing guidelines, procedures, forecasted budget and ethical conduct.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in food sales industry
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
• Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, team player attitude, and a proactive can-do attitude.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
