Project Engineer (Construction)

Job Responsibilities:

• To assist Technical Manager on the day-to-day management of the site.
• Participate in project meetings, including design reviews, progress updates, and safety briefings.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Prepare and revise engineering documents, drawings, risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, operations, and maintenance manuals for all necessary works.
• Provide technical support and guidance to onsite construction teams, resolving issues and addressing challenges in real-time.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment of expectations.
• Transition into a site engineer role to oversee project production, including coordinating construction activities, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain regular communication with subcontractors, main contractor, and relevant authorities as needed.
• Direct report to the Technical Manager & team lead.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in Engineering or a related field.
• Min. 3 years working experience in Construction Site/ Project Engineering / Project Management.
• Experience in construction industry, M&E preferred
• Self-driven with positive working attitude and safety mindset.
• Good team player, positive working attitude.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel overseas when needed.
