What we seek to accomplish together:
- In partnership with the NCS Solution Manager / Solution Architect / Service Delivery Manager, formulate and execute strategies to accelerate customer outcomes through NCS Professional Services engagements.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of NCS portfolio of solutions & services.
- Represent NCS Infrastructure (Day 1 & 2) Delivery Team for pre-sales architectural discussions and design workshops with customers and understand customer’s technical requirements.
- Develop Professional Services project proposals and SOWs, and work with NCS CSU account managers to develop detailed task plans, effort estimates, and delivery timelines.
- Guide and manage the delivery of strategic professional services engagements.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be NCS Professional Services advocates.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge, sales and delivery content amongst the SMO Professional Services community.
- Designing, building, and operating agency specific or cluster level IT infrastructures.
A little about you:
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, and networking.
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Customer / User facing skills and experience within customer’s environment, driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
- Hands-on experience leading the deployment of technology infrastructure of network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
- Experience with Public Sector IT compliance and risk management requirements.
- Broad enterprise systems experience including SAP, Oracle, MSFT and custom Java/.NET applications.
- A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
