Bartender

<POSITION: FULL-TIME / PART-TIME BARTENDER>

Minimum age of 18 years & above required.

Main role of Bartender is to deliver our food and beverages in a friendly and courteous manner with work safe practice, hygiene and sanitation in all of bar areas.  

Bartender are to equip with 5 key areas which is as follows:

1. Knowledge

• To have basic knowledge on all beverage and food
• Learn all cocktail specifications (house drinks)
• To be aware of all hygiene and sanitation standards and procedures
• To be aware of fire and health and safety standards and procedures

2. Stock Control

• To be fully aware of par levels for respective bars
• Record all wastage appropriately
• Understand requisition procedures, assist other bartenders when necessary
• Understand procedures for out of stock items and shortage items respectively

3. Cost Control

• Understand cost of basic ingredients for cocktails
• Assist team members with monthly inventories and stock orderings
• Be aware and maintain equipment par levels

4. Leadership

• To maintain performance / grooming / punctuality
• Be disciplined with all duties on bar
• Be aware of day to day bar support duties. Give them a hand as much as you can

5. Operations

• Ensure cleanliness of all bar area at all times
• Follow service guidelines: Correct procedures for taking orders/ Correct times to deliver beverages and food orders / Quality control / Present bill at the correct time
• Ensure that equipment is kept clean and used correctly
• Learn Classic cocktail specifications
• Maintain consistency of all beverage procedures
• Basic POS (Micros) training
