Trade Executive (Line Management) - Shipping/Sea Freight // UP TO $4.5k - Positive Work Culture

Our client is a multinational container shipping company based in Singapore is seeking skilled individuals to join its team.

Job Description: 

• Enhance cost efficiency and optimize yield.
• Thoroughly understand and control direct and indirect costs.
• Manage and resolve claims (cargo claims, container damage, vessel damage) in consultation with legal team.
• Acquire, compile, and maintain trade statistics and reports in collaboration with the Commercial department.
• Ensure prompt space arrangements during contingencies and manage space for various services.
• Select cargo to deliver optimal Net To Vessel returns.
• Maintain updated online booking forecasts in liaison with multi-agents.
• Schedule services, liaise with operations and agents, and disseminate schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in maritime business or business management preferred.
• Preferably 2 years’ experience in shipping line trade operations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independence and result orientation.
• Strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions based on data.
• Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic environments.
