Staff Nurse/ Midwife (Labor & Delivery) - Rapid Progression

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment and clinical intervention in hospital/ ward

• Provide quality nursing care, nursing procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and well-being of the patients.

• Monitor vitals of mothers and children

• Record and maintain proper accurate documentation of patient's progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts.

• Assist doctors and attend to clinical/ medical/surgical procedures whenever necessary

• Competencies in clinical nursing skills and knowledge such as performing IV cannulation, assist in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, venepuncture for blood sampling, administering injections, ECG monitoring and interpretation, gowning and gloving of self and others.

• Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the supervisors on-site

Job Requirements

• Must be Registered Nurse/ Midwife with Singapore Nursing Board, preferably with both

• Possess at least a full time, recognised Diploma/ Degree in Nursing

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years direct relevant working experience in Labor & Delivery ward

• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work 3 rotating shifts and weekends on a scheduled roster
