Design Marine Engineer (Submarine) - Competitive Pay

Responsibilities:

• Create Engineering Documents such as technical specifications, calculations, drawings for new ideas and products.
• Develop new drawings and revisions to existing ones, together with component lists and change orders.
• Conducting analysis of the layout and the drawings.
• In collaboration with the Ship Design Authority, plan and coordinate any necessary design modifications.
• Create technical documentation and guidelines in accordance with the specified budget, timetable, quality standards, and defined formats from the technical database
• Test and validate technical interfaces in accordance with specified test protocols developed from the technical database for the work completed.
• Communicate with ship owners and the Ship Design Authority to have engineering deliverables approved.
• Oversee the design timeline and ensure the work is completed in compliance with the contract and regulations. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering. 
• With 2 years of experience in Engineering Design or Naval Engineeering or related. 
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the Classification/Statutory Rule and Regulations. 
• Familiar with the Naval Classification rules. 
• Competent skills in Engineering Design Project Management. 
• Proficiency of AutoCAD.
