Drafter & Quantity Surveyor (Building & Construction) - Career Growth Potential

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the preparation of contract documentation, including but not limited to contract drawings, specifications, schedules and BOQs.
• Take off quantity measurements and prepare tender submission documents.
• Handle the running projects by monitoring costs, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
• Review subcontractor quotations for completeness and prepare comparison reports for GM/Director’s approval.
• Ensure timely and accurate taking off of quantities for cost estimation and project planning.
• Submit returns to relevant authorities and liaise with them for approval.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets regularly.
• Prepare progress claims for clients and review subcontractor claims.
• Provide support to the Project Manager for cost control measures and monitor project expenses.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building. 
• Good knowledge of MS Office. 
• Competent with Revit, AutoCAD, Structural, Naviswork is a plus.
