Informatica Cloud Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to design end-to-end solutions, evaluate IDMC services, and make recommendations.
• Utilize standard data modeling, data flow, and documentation tools to analyze, document, and present data analysis work.
• Work with non-technical stakeholders to understand data behavior and characteristics, translating technical concepts into understandable insights.
• Cooperate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve data and process issues.
• Develop ETL and data preparation processes from various sources to MSSQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Create, maintain, and optimize ETL and Informatica processes to accommodate changing needs.
• Develop and manage Informatica artifacts including code, environment configurations, and documentation.
• Plan and execute Informatica ETL unit, SIT, and UAT tests.
• Familiarity with stored procedures, functions, inline SQL, and database structures.
• Provide post-production application support as needed.
• Adhere to established standards and best practices, offering suggestions for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years of Informatica development experience.
• Proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter v10.5+ and experience in migrating to IDMC.
• Skilled in performance tuning of sources, mappings, targets, and sessions.
• Knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Modeling concepts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server/PostgreSQL databases and strong T-SQL programming skills.
• Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams for query optimization and performance.
• Experience with git Source Control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or deployment automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Team player with excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills.
