Responsibilities:
- To perform work in CAD tasks and mechanical design & development, so as to deliver satisfactory quality products against project requirements & within agreed timeline. Products of work includes, but not limited to, the following:
- Engineering calculations
- Technical solutions
- CAD design features for various purposes: product features, prototype, proof of concept, jigs & fixtures
- 2D drawings, technical specifications, or technical documents
- Project requirements and related timelines are to be communicated (between Garment Care I&D assigned engineer and Supplier’s crew performing technical service) as and when necessary and appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Competent in plastics part design of high-volume, mass-produced consumer and/or electronics products
- Proficient in CAD tools: NX tool. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to conduct mechanical system tolerance analysis
