The Role: Manage operations to ensure efficient and effective internal and external dispatch services according to schedule across the facilities and offices.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise despatchers / drivers to ensure smooth operation of the department.
- Provide orientation and on - the-job training (OJT) to new despatcher/ drivers under performer so as to continuously upgrade despatcher/ driver's skills and knowledge.
- Prepare monthly duty roster for the despatchers to ensure that there is adequate coverage. Review time and attendance record for despatchers
- Collect and send items and documents to and from wards, internal departments, various facilities or designated areas, according to schedules.
- Maintain record of items and documents delivered when necessary in accordance to department procedures and policies
- Coordinate any dispatch requests with internal customers when necessary
- Ensure that monthly cheque requisitions are raised to top up credits for Franking Machines for hospitals
- Perform any other duties or to undertake other responsibilities assigned by Division Head.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE "O" Level
- Possess Supervisory Experience
- Preferably 2 years relevant working experience
- possess valid Class 3 driving license
