We are seeking an influential Lead, Business Development and Partnership to join our growing team at Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants in Raffles Place, Central Region.

As the Lead of Business Development and Partnership,  you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and business development initiatives to increase SCAQ branding and attract, develop and retain candidates to drive membership growth. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Growth, you will deliver, implement and monitor strategic and tactical business opportunities to increase engagements in SCAQ Community with the support from Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs), Registered Learning Organisations (RLOs) and Young CA members. 

Key Responsibilities:

SCAQ Community

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive candidate growth strategy to attract a larger number of candidates (including non-accounting graduates) to SCAQ.
  • Execute candidate engagement plans, events and support candidate communications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build a vibrant SCAQ candidate and alumni community (SCAQ Centre)
  • Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and activities that encourage social interaction among candidates.
  • Identify and nurture candidate ambassadors for the SCAQ who can play a role in community development and organizing events. 
  • Responsible for active candidate’s journey to membership 
  • Manage reinstatement candidature and retain candidates enrolment

Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs)

  • Expand pool of ATOs, manage accreditation and re-accreditation of employers under the programme to ensure suitable training environments for candidates.
  • Engage employers and their candidates regularly to obtain feedback on the programme. 
  • Support the HOD in employer engagement and outreach plans.
  • Conduct regular visits and presentation to different levels (from fresh graduates to management staff)
  • Plan and implement on boarding information talks for new recruits within ATOs

Registered Learning Organisations (RLOs)

  • Monitor and communicate with registered learning organisations.
  • Support SCAQ Academy on strategic projects
  • Identify credible tuition partners, set them up as RLOs, monitor and develop their offering
  • Monitor and track students results

External Stakeholders

  • Identify and forge strategic partnerships with educational institutions, employers, government agencies, other professional bodies and relevant organisations to enhance the programme's credibility and reach both locally and overseas.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-create initiatives that drive candidate engagement and enrolment.


Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Monitor relevant metrics and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on enrolment trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Produce specific weekly management information in particular progress on business and marketing strategy, targets and projects given by HOD

Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs

 

Requirements

  • Preferbaly Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of proven experience in marketing and/or business development.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Inter-personal savvy and adept at building relationships with different stakeholders. 
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members towards common goals.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously.
