Production / Material Planner

Job Descriptions:-

• Responsible for overseeing production plans, including the creation, release, and timely shipment of work orders to meet customer requirements.
• Review customer demand and commit the delivery dates to Sales Department in Sales Order Details.
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of materials.
• Monitor and coordinate material shortages, advise on quantity order requests, and collaborate closely with Buyers to expedite materials.
• Ensure work orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor materials fulfillment and utilization of work-in-progress (WIP).
• Follow up and execute work order changes for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Deviation Notices (DNs).
• Drive efforts to minimize excess and obsolete WIP inventory.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing processes and key performance metrics.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and streamlining workflow procedures.

Job Requirements:-

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Technical Engineering / Business / Supply Chain Management
• At least 2+ years experience in EMS/ Manufacturing environment
• Possess knowledge in work order management and understanding of Bill of Material
• Experience with SAP PP module, including knowledge of work order management, materials flow, and production planning is a plus.
• Strong analytical skill, negotiation and influencing skill
• Experience in equipment manufacturing industry
• Ability to drive work orders from planning to delivery
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
• Experience with Google Workplace and preferred knowledge of SAP/MRP
