Research Officer (Orthopaedic Surgery) - Energetic Workplace

This position will require the candidate to perform the following:

• Perform appropriate and extensive literature search on related topics.
  Design and plan experiments.
• Perform experiments either independently or together with research project team members.
• Analyse experimental data and when necessary conduct statistical analyses.
• Assist to submit, and keep records and file copies of documents; and if required, ensure CIRB, GCP, and other regulatory compliances at all times.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of abstracts, manuscripts and presentation slides.
• Be competent in the following techniques:Tissue culture,Buffer prep,Western blot,Histopathology slide prep (bonus)
• Assist to submit, and keep records and file copies of documents; and if required, ensure CIRB, GCP, and other regulatory compliances at all times.
• Assist PIs in sourcing, procuring and purchasing of items, consumables and/or equipment related to the research project.
  Ensure sufficient supplies necessary for experiments
• Ad-hoc research related activities as directed by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Degree or Masters in life sciences, molecular biology or related fields with molecular lab experience
• Organized and conscientious
• Proactive, eager, and keen to learn.
• Good organization and communication skills, written and oral
• Able to work independently as well as a team.
