Job Description - Technical Assistant (Ship Owner)

Responsibilities:

Aid in the creation and upkeep of a repair database and the compilation of technical specifications
Support the preparation of technical reports
Assist in compiling and tracking technical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliverables
Coordinate with vessels and various departments for the procurement of spares, stores, and contractor services
Ensure accuracy and systematic maintenance of technical drawings, manuals, plans, reports, certificates, and documents within a database
Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

Possess a diploma in marine engineering or a related field (preferably maritime or engineering majors)
Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
Demonstrate meticulousness, diligence, and professionalism
Exhibit strong drafting and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
