Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Working location: Jurong Island ( Transport pick up : Jurong East )

Work hours: Monday to Friday (8 am to 4.30 pm)

Salary range: $4500 - $5800

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in relevant field
• Min 5 years’ experience in a petrochemical industry

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and promotion of QA related activities and compliance in the company. He/ She is also responsible to:

• Establish, implement, maintain & improve the management systems, namely: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS 651
• Establish, implement, review & improve on management systems’ documentations, namely: policy, objectives, manual, procedures, forms, etc.
• Manage all system certification, improvement and upgrade issues.
• Plan, manage and execute all internal and external management system audits to ensure timely closure of issues raised during the audits.
• Plan and conduct management reviews.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of all QA activities and support in HSE activities.
• Follow-up on issues to ensure timely closure of HSEQ-related reports, namely: customer complaint reports, corrective action reports, incident reports, etc
• .Prepare and submit Monthly reports.
• Participate as a team member in risk / HSE assessment team.
• Participate in external provider audits, where applicable.
• Co-ordination of Global QA initiatives and projects.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System Certification / GMP is preferred.
• To perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.
