Bellman - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Position Overview

The Bellman is responsible for assisting every guest with their luggage and belongings and maintains an orderly hotel driveway. They are the first impression of the hotel and the brand; as well as the last impression that the guest will receive upon departing from the hotel.

The Role

1. Direct and control vehicular flow at driveway
2. Assist with car and hotel doors
3. Greet guests and assist with directions and other enquiries
4. Provide luggage assistance to arriving and departing guests
5. Escort guests to their rooms and explain the use of room amenities and facilities
6. Assist guests with ground transportation in a timely manner
7. Deliver incoming items to guest rooms
8. Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the luggage rooms, trolleys and buggies.
9. Update records on completed work tasks and work items for handover
10. Ensure that hotel shuttle bus and limousine services are carried out smoothly and properly
11. Assist the front desk if required to maintain an orderly hotel lobby

Talent Profile

1. Minimum Secondary qualification
2. Experiences in similar role in luxury hotels/resorts
3. Embodies excellent etiquette and portrays a professional image
4. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
5. Must be in good physical condition as job requires lifting and moving of heavy/bulky items
6. Able to maintain a high level of composure in a busy environment.
7. Having a vehicle driving license is an advantage
