The Incumbent will be trained and subsequently expected to be familiar and comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines for the care of residents placed in a Welfare Home.
The Incumbent will be responsible to:
- Provide person centered care (PCC) to the residents by maintaining their personal hygiene and social well-being.
- Supervise a team of Nursing Aides and Healthcare Attendants to provide holistic care to the residents.
- Conduct inspections and checks to ensure smooth operations of the Home.
- Attend to incidents and emergencies, as well as visits by next-of-kin or friends of residents.
- Participate in the development of Individual Care Plans (ICP) for assigned residents to address their psycho-social needs.
- Encourage residents to achieve the goals in the ICP through appropriate care, interventions and counselling.
- Ensure that all interviews, incidents and events of residents are properly recorded and reported.
- Reporting and submitting of relevant incident reports to the Director and to MSF.
- When on duty, to attend to inspections by MSF or their appointed representatives.
Working Hours
3 rotating shifts based on duty roster:
1st shift: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm
2nd shift: 2 pm to 10.30 pm
3rd shift: 10 pm to 8 am
Must be able to work weekends and public holidays
