Job Description

• Industry/Organization Type: Education
• Position Title: Accountant
• Working Location: Sixth Avenue (Transportation Provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + AWS
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of full set accounts
• Booking all entries into SAGE ACCPAC accounting system.
• Sending bulk billing from SAGE ACCPAC accounting system.
• Oversee collection of payments.
• Responsible for processing of staff claims and payments.
• Processing of Payments through internet banking.
• Preparation of GST submission.
• Develop and implement accounting systems, procedures, and internal control.
• Liaise with external auditors on all audit matters, and co-ordinate all functional responses to audit reports including follow-up on all outstanding issues.

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience relevant experience
• Proficient in SAGE ACCPAC accounting software and Microsoft Excel
