Purpose Of The Role
Presidio is looking to add a Financial Accountant to its existing Finance team in Singapore. As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for looking after the day to day financial matters of our APAC entities, with a particular focus on accurate and timely monthly reporting. This position will report to the Finance Manager in APAC.

Responsibilities

· Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts (Sage System) including analysis of accounts, journal postings and other month-end processing (Full set of accounts)

· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other control procedures

· Day to day cash/bank management

· Day to day monitoring of working capital (Stock, debtors and creditors)

· Managing accounts payables, accounts receivables and fixed assets

· Prepare and file for quarterly GST and withholding taxes (if any)

· Liaison with external consultants in preparation of Tax returns

· Assisting in year-end financial reporting and liaison with external auditors

· Identify opportunities for process improvements

· Working with the team to ensure the highest standards of internal controls and financial support services are in place to support the business

· Assist all company stakeholders with any technical queries which may arise

· Any other tasks/project assigned from time to time

Education And Experience

· Highly motivated and ambitious qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)

· 3+ years relevant experience in the industry

· Instinctively analytical, highly accurate, detailed oriented, and has strong follow-up

· Ability to produce results, prioritising objectives and scheduling work to make the best use of time and ensure deadlines are met

· Assertive, flexible and open to change with a ‘Can-Do’ attitude

· Ability to handle full set of accounts

· Ability to ensure controls and procedures are followed

· Positive working attitude, willing to learn and willing to hands-on

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Team player with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with others

· Display personal commitment, effort, motivation and initiative in all business dealings

· Strong IT skills; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn new systems

· Experience of Sage200 an advantage but not essential
