Area Sales Manager

• Keep General Sales Manager informed by submitting activities and results report, such as daily work reports and weekly work plans
• Service customer accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing schedule to call on new potential sales outlets as well as working with the team to promote sales, achieve brand sales and agreed gross profit levels.
• Liaise with Purchasing or Inventory manager to maintain wine inventory at required levels and ensure no OOS situation.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Provide product education/training to wine sales team, outlet staff and trade customers when required.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate wholesale price book and prepare quotations, tender submission, proposals of house pour and regular wine listing contacts.
• Write and edit product content that will be published on e-Commerce websites/portals.
• Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listing online, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key trade customers to benefit development of the brands
• Grow the Company’s market share in on-trade sector consistently each year.
• Organize, participate and represent the company a private and public event, such as tastings, wine dinners, exhibitions and other sales related activities.
• Ensuring timely collection of payments due and prompt submission and maintenance of relevant paperwork.
• Inform customers of special monthly promotions, marketing events and wine tasting sessions.

Skills Requirement:

• International wine knowledge and relevant certification
• Minimum 3 years of wine sales experience in the Singapore Market
• WSET Level 3/4 preferred
• Training/Teaching experience in the restaurant trade
• Sommelier experience in well-respected establishments
• Excellent administrative and communication skills
• WSET accreditation and any equivalent wine/spirit/sake accreditation.
• Certified specialist of wine is preferable.
