We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager / Head Bar Manager to oversee our front-of-house and bar operations. In this dual role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations while leading the bar team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional to make a significant impact in a brand-new venue and advance their career.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead and manage the bar team, including bartenders and barbacks, to provide excellent service and high-quality beverages.
• Develop and implement bar menus, including craft cocktails, wine, and beer selections.
• Train and mentor front-of-house and bar staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering supplies and managing costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including alcohol service laws.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
• Assist in scheduling staff, managing shifts, and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
• Perform administrative duties as needed, including cash handling and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of beverage programs, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with inventory management and cost control.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in hospitality management or relevant field is a plus.
