Category Manager (Beauty)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a German Travel Retail client with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Category Manager based at their Singapore HQ! Reporting directly to the Head of Category Management, the successful incumbent will take charge of the perfume & cosmetics category to develop comprehensive category strategies, manage category budgets, forecasting and allocation across APAC region.

The Job

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive category strategies throughout the APAC region, aiming to enhance sales and profitability through meticulous analysis of sales data, market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and competitor insights.
• Collaborate closely with global, regional, and local Category Management, Sales and Procurement Teams to formulate and align category objectives and strategies.
• Oversee category budgets, forecasting, product assortments, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize financial outcomes, offering insights and guidance in refining and implementing category strategies.
• Proactively identify and pursue new concepts, categories, and brand opportunities to expand business presence across the APAC region.
• Deliver concise and insightful presentations on category performance, strategic recommendations, and future plans to top management.
• Remain abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive benchmarks to continuously refine and enhance category performance and strategies.
