Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. You will work closely with IT and other departments to develop and implement security measures that safeguard our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect information systems and data.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software).
• Experience with technical skills below is a plus:

1. Network security and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS).
2. Security assessment tools and methodologies.
3. Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control technologies.
4. Operating systems security (Windows, Linux, Unix).
5. Understanding of cloud security best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
6. Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
7. Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+.
8. Experience with compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

• Knowledge of secure software development practices.
