Design Engineer (Civil)

• A1 Main Contractor
• 5.5 Alternate saturdays
• Confidential project

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with external engineering consultants for projects in accordance with Design Management Procedures to solve various design/construction issues.
• Develop shop drawings for permanent works based on consultants' designs and drawings. Experience in coordination with construction teams to prepare concrete body plans.
• Carry out design checks in accordance with the project's appropriate requirements when needed.
• Ensure the use of the latest documents/drawings. Track submission drawings, DAR submissions, and design changes.
• Identify safety and environmental hazards that may arise during the fabrication, installation, and use of temporary works.
• Provide feedback to the project personnel on construction details. Provide drawing and technical documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of design engineering experience in civil structural works.
• Demonstrated capability in developing innovative concepts for solving technical, complex issues.
• Competent understanding of Singapore and International codes and standards.
• Relevant experience in Authorities submission.
• Competent in the use of MS Office and AutoCAD.
