Job Description - Field Technician (Telecommunication)

Job Description

Carry out optics fibre and structural cable patching
Carry out basic optics fibre and structural cable testing
Splice optics fibres depending on necessary installation/ corrective works
Carry out structural cable termination
Troubleshoot issues found within optics fibres or structural cables to resolve issues
Supervise works carried out by contractors
Liaise with customers, building management, relevant stakeholders to ensure deliverables

Requirements

Class 3 Driving License
Willing to work within Singapore ports premises (outdoor and indoor)
1-2 years of relevant work experience with either optic fibres or structural cables
Good command of the English language in both spoken and written forms
Good communication and interpersonal skills
