Firmware Testing Engineer (Fresh Graduate Welcome/MNC Semiconductor)

The client is the world leading semiconductor company from USA. It is ranked as one of the “Top Best Places to Work in Singapore”. Below position is open urgently.

Position: Firmware Testing Engineer/ Storage exp (Contract – 12 months)

Location: Bendemeer

Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm

The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Execute testing of SSD on test systems as well as by using Protocol Analyzer and oscilloscope to validate functionality
• Perform debug and analysis of failures towards resolution of failures observed.
• Participate in test bug resolution and test case development.
• Participate in setting up of test environment and systems in preparation for validation
• Tabulate test results and generate report for continuous firmware health monitoring
• Complete Execution of Validation Find-Fix cycles – Continuous running Deliverable
• Performance of first pass failure analysis – Continuous running DeliverableScope of

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Basic working knowledge with Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience with embedded device testing/ data center/ data storage/ firmware testing will be preferred.
• Knowledge in Python scripting and/or experience with basic signal/power measurement equipment is preferred.
• Experience in using SATA/PCIe bus analyzers and Analog/Mixed Signal oscilloscopes would be beneficial.
• Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment.
