First Aid / BCLS Training Instructor

Singapore Emergency Responder Academy (SERA) is looking for an outgoing, engaging and organised First Aid / BCLS Training Instructor who will also be tasked with logistics arrangements of our training rooms.

Training

• Conduct theory and practical training and assessment according to the respective syllabus set by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC)
• Adhere to training schedule and syllabus
• Ensures the safety and well-being of Learners (Trainee-Providers)
• Abide by the standards and guidelines set by SRFAC and the Training Centre
• Pack training equipment and prepare logistics for upcoming classes
• Any adhoc duties assigned by the Manager

Logistics

• Setup of classrooms (tables, chairs and AV) in accordance with event requirements
• Assist speakers / trainers in the setup of AV equipment and event matters
• Any adhoc duties assigned by the Manager

Certificate Requirements

• Valid BCLS+AED Instructor certificate
• Valid Standard First Aid Provider
• Valid Child First Aid Provider certificate / KKH Immersion Workshop certificate

Other Certifications

Candidates with the following additional certifications are encouraged to highlight them in their application, as they will be considered advantageous:

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualification
• Code of Ethics
• First Aid Trainer Certificate

• Must be able to work on weekends
