Its midstream and downstream operations include liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in Canada, LNG receiving terminals and gas-fired power plants in China. The incumbent will lead in the set-up and oversight of the LNG trading team in executing and managing LNG-related transactions by developing and considering market trading strategies, portfolio risk parameters and approvals process in order to manage physical and financial LNG-related transactions to meet profitability targets. He/She shall oversee provision of market insights and relevant analysis to support proposed LNG transactions, build-up the suitable trading infrastructure to support the growth in LNG trading activity as well as develop and expand strategic relationships with LNG trading counterparties. He/She will be responsible for manpower planning, directing trading operations, managing the budget and formulate the annual work plan. He/She will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where timely decisions must be made based on market movements and trends. He/She is a forward-looking and results-oriented individual who can work well under pressure, and is able to provide strategic direction in enhancing the organisation's portfolio value and profitability.
