IT Director / Senior Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategy:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Company's technology infrastructure and application services across all business units.
- Develop, update and manage IT policies that align with the Company’s business objectives.
- Oversee, manage, and track the IT budget, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of software, data management systems, Cybersecurity and other relevant technology solutions.
- Manage effective data security measures to minimise business risks, and to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.
2. Infrastructure Management:
- Manage the firm's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, desktops, data back-up and cloud services, etc.
- Manage outsourced vendors to ensure that contractual obligations are met, and risks are properly mitigated and managed.
- Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for system administration, network security, and user support including the upgrades, migration and replacement of hardware and software utilities.
- Lead and manage Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure DR readiness and compliance.
3. Others:
- Responsible for cybersecurity awareness training and/or other relevant IT training for staff.
- Liaise with other business units and system users to ensure smooth integration of technology into operation processes and workflows.
- Any other duties / projects as required to perform the role from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years in a hands-on managerial role.
- Excellent technical knowledge in areas but not limited to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, end-to-end infrastructure, cybersecurity, other networking concepts, common software applications and productivity tools.
- A robust understanding of security protocols and industrial best practices in IT systems, processes, and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
