Job Description - Private Client Director (Singapore)

Moet Hennessy is a worldwide leader in luxury wines and spirits. The goal of the private client team is to target, reach and educate private clients on our Moet Hennessy range and portfolio of Prestige products, Rarities and Uber Pieces. At the same time, we pride ourselves to provide clients with excellent service. Our goal is to cultivate clients to become our brand advocates/ambassadors.

Reporting to Vice President MH Private China, Singapore, Philippines and Oceania, you will actively plan and implement commercial strategies to increase existing business and capture new opportunities by targeting (U)HNWI and HNWI through nurturing key relationships and extending personalized services and experiences. You will represent the brands to consumers through Ambassadorial duties, event hosting and personal introduction. In addition, you will lead a team and meet P&L objectives while maintaining marketing budgets and working with other key stakeholders to meet core targets.

Responsibilities:

1) P&L Objectives

  • Implement all strategies short, medium and long term to achieve sales objectives
  • Lead and manage the MH Private Singapore team to achieve targets and drive high performance
  • Plan, implement and optimize sales activities to achieve/ exceed sales objectives in terms of profit, market share, turnover and sales volume
  • Ensure a cohesive and aligned approach with key internal stakeholders

2) Sales & Business Development

  • Support the Vice President MH Private China, Singapore, Philippines and Oceania to engage and develop strong relationships with a select group of HNWIs
  • Identify, recruit, and maintain list of private clients through personal and private networks
  • Work alongside Marketing for bespoke (high image) brand events/programmes to create desirability and drive sales
  • Adhere to pricing guidelines, co-ordinate pricing, and prioritise product offers to be released to clients

3) Sales Management

  • Achieve KPI on Brand sales target
  • Manage client engagement budget
  • Provide timely and accurate information to update MH CRM database
  • Evaluate contracts on regular basis to drive improvement on sales efficiency
  • Ensure order management and accuracy in APO forecast
  • Ensure collection through pro-active evaluation and management of receivables to achieve collection target

4) Internal Control

  • Follow internal procedures and standard policies when developing new client accounts
  • Ensure that target price levels for clients are implemented
  • Follow compliance guidelines on protecting clients’ data and ensure all clients sign PDPA with Moet Hennessy

Requirements:

  • At least 12 years’ experience in sales and client relationship management
  • Having own personal network of (U)HNWI contacts
  • Possess Luxury Selling skillset and mindset
  • Wine knowledge and/or WSET certification will be a significant advantage
  • Good understanding of luxury industry or private banking industry
  • Has strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strategic agility and highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance client needs with business objectives
  • Self-starter and results-oriented
  • Fluent in English with proficiency of other language(s) will be an advantage
