Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Security Tools Architect & Engineer: Design, implement, and maintain security tools to safeguard the organization's infrastructure.
• Security Project Lead: Drive security projects from concept to completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment and effectiveness.
• Security SME: Provide subject matter expertise across various security domains, guiding technical decisions.
• Security Posture Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance the organization's security posture to mitigate cyber threats.
• Security Integration & Awareness: Integrate security principles into technology processes and conduct security awareness training.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Security (or equivalent experience).
• Proven Security Experience: 5+ years in security engineering with deep expertise in one or more security domains.
• Security Tools: Good experience in various security tools.
• Project Leadership: 3+ years of leading security projects end-to-end.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to relevant security regulations and industry standards.
• Continuous Learning: Strong desire to stay updated on evolving security threats and best practices (certifications a plus).
• Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, AWS Certified Security - Specialty are highly desirable.
