Senior Officer (Finance Operations)***

This will be a 1 year + 1 year contract position based in One North.

Scope of Work

• Month-end and year-end closing activities
• Fund requisitions and final statement of accounts review
• Outstanding fund requisitions and final statement of accounts tracking
• Payment, billing and receipts journals review
• Monitor payment runs and prompt payments to vendors
• Management Reporting for annual budget cycles, budget utilisation and variance analysis
• Supporting Councils / Division and key stakeholders
• Supporting projects
• Assist in User Acceptance Testings (UATs)
• Ensure compliance with relevant Government Instruction Manuals and internal policies and SOPs
• Preparation of returns to Ministries and other Government entities
• Engage with Auditors for internal, statutory and AGO audits
• Ad-hoc Finance duties as necessary

Requirement

• Degree in Accountancy with at least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience supervising/reviewing work of junior
• Analytical
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Fast learning agility and adaptability
• Multi-tasker and can deliver results under tight timelines
• Very meticulous, always organised and infinitely resourceful
• Well-versed in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP system preferred
