Job Description - Vice President, Business Development

Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level sales leader. As a VP Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving our growth and expanding our enterprise client base in the APAC region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and nurturing key accounts. This position demands a proactive and results-driven professional with a track record of success in enterprise sales and business development. To be successful, you will already have experience selling enterprise software into complex organizations and/or large enterprises. As part of the role, you will work directly with our Founders who are hands-on team in all aspects of the sales cycle (e.g. pre-sales, sales and channel activities).

Role Responsibilities

• Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets

• Identifying new sales opportunities and building client relationships

• Setting sales targets and forecasting sales volumes

• Ensuring the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance

• Building collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders

• Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis

• Build channel sales together with the Product/Cyber teams

• Hiring and building a first class sales team (in time to come)

• Leading the team and inspiring high performance by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance

Requirements

• 7 years’ experience in enterprise sales or product sales

• Strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership role

• Have successfully built, scaled, and led high-performing sales teams

• Strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships

• Team player that thrives in helping others succeed

• Strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on

Preferred Skills

• Experience with managing distributed sales teams across different geographies

• Comfortable with business travel (up to once per month)
