Project Manager

$3,500 - $4,000 per month depend on experience + projects commissions

Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

Roles and Responsibilities

Job Scope:

1. Budget Management: Estimating costs, preparing budgets and ensuring that projects are completed within budget constraints. This may involve cost tracking, negotiating with suppliers and finding cost-effective solutions,

2. Resource Allocation: Assigning tasks to carpenters, subcontractors and other workers as needed. Managing manpower and equipment resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

3. Procurement: Sourcing materials, tools and equipment required for carpentry projects. This may involve researching suppliers, obtaining quotes and purchasing materials within budgetary constraints,

4. Schedule Management: Creating and maintaining project schedules to ensure that carpentry work progresses according to plan. Monitoring project milestones and addressing any delays or issues that arise,

5. Quality Control: Ensuring that carpentry work meets quality standards and adheres to building codes and regulations,

6. Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting any issues or challenges that arise during carpentry projects. Implementing effective solutions to overcome obstacles and keep projects on track,

7. Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders and progress reports. Keeping detailed records of project activities and expenditures.

Requirements:

1. Experience to coordinate and support in handling the progress of the project from inception to completion,

2. Must be able to read drawings,

3. Experience in budgeting and cost management to ensure projects stay within financial constraints,

4. Knowledge of scheduling and timeline management to meet project deadline,

5. Leadership skills to manage a team,

6. Excellent communication skill to coordinate with clients and suppliers,

7. Must be willing and able to prioritize and manage midnight work as required, ensuring project continuity 24/7,

8. Availability to be on-site at all times during project execution to promptly address any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies,

9. Must be available for overseas travel as required for project-related tasks or meetings.
