The incumbent reports to the Global Supply Chain Organization and leads a team to support the management of Materials Cost Reduction Programs, Business Intelligence & Process Improvement Programs and other Programs as assigned.
Business Intelligence and Process Improvement Programs
- Global Process owner to oversee the design and execution of Supply Chain Business process improvement and systems implementation
- Identifying and communicating data-driven insights in making informed decisions through spend and data analytics.
- Work with relevant Procurement policy and process counterparts, Procurement teams and IT to improve data accuracy
- Work with Sponsors to define the scope, objective, schedule, KPI and communicate the deliverables to the functional owners and key stakeholders for each process /system re-design or harmonization.
- Anticipate possible issues, resource challenges and escalate in proper time to clear urgent/ critical barriers.
- Maintain regular communication with functional teams on the progress, and report status to Sponsors and management on risks to costs and schedule.
- Materials Cost Reduction Programs
- To understand the cost drivers and set the annual Materials Cost Savings target by Product
- Periodically query, survey and assess the changes on the materials cost drivers and re-configure the analytics to derive ‘data-for-decisions’ or insights to drive for increase in savings or cost containment actions
- Manage the publication of Quarterly Product Materials cost roadmaps, Savings actualizations and Projections
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain/ Business Management / Engineering with 5-8 years of more of relevant experience, PMP certification holder is preferable
- Familiar with SAP, Oracle and ERP systems relating to procurement, contract management and vendor management would be advantageous
- Experience in sourcing, procurement and E2E Supply Chain fulfillment activities in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in ERP implementation is essential
- Strong conceptual, analytical thinking skills and adept in data modelling
- Strong leadership skills including motivating, influencing and negotiating
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and prioritization skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
