Senior Engineer (Applied Technologies), Rail Engineering Management - Join a Leading Company

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
• Support project implementation and handles operational issues in Infrastructure and Data Center setup.
• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, project deadline, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
• Organize, prepare necessary presentation materials, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions derived from meetings.
• Perform detailed investigation on failures and recommend solutions to user departments and / or management to prevent fault reoccurrences.
• Conduct applied research, source, identify and implement new technologies to rail performance in terms of reliability, availability.
• Provide regular reporting of all projects to the management.
• Provide technical / engineering / project support and consultation to the Engineering and Operations Departments.
• Any other tasks as assigned by superior(s).

Requirements:

• Masters / Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering.
• 5 years or more post-graduate work experience will be of added advantage.
• Applicants with more years of relevant experience coupled with leadership skills may be considered for Assistant Manager / Managerial role instead.
• Up to date on latest technologies and well-versed in computer hardware or / and software applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen interest in research and experimentation.
• Strong planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Independent, resourceful, self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Able to identify colours in the course of work.
• Incumbent will be required to commute between 2 rail depots.
