Support Salaries & Pensions Team in the full suite of pensions and medical billings services within the Government HR and Payroll (HRP) system.
Your responsibilities include:
- Processing pension payments to pensioners, including handling failed payments and handling follow-ups and queries from outsourced vendor which processes pension administration and payment services to pensioners residing overseas.
- Processing pensioners’ and eligible dependents' medical claims.
- Processing Medisave and Medshield payments, including handing Medisave refund and recovery.
- Following up with next-of-kins on outstanding due from deceased pensioners.
- Updating of pensioners’ records in HRP.
- Attending to Pensions hotline and helpdesk.
- Performing reconciliations of pensions-related accounts.
Requirements
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Background in Accounting, Business, IT or Finance
- Experience in managing payroll systems and/or external stakeholders (e.g. customers) will be an advantage
Generic Competencies
- Able to work in a fast paced, multi-stakeholder and team setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and resourceful
