Operation Executive Post Fixtures

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep charterers and owners advised on requirements pertaining to the fixtures such as voyage order, stowage, cargo quantity and cargo grades

• Ensure invoices are issued on a timely basis (via constant monitoring of vessel movement), and as per Charter Party clause

• Follow up on collection of demurrage and payment of despatch

• Monitor charter party disputes with charterers and owners

• Final hire statements, freight invoices and laytime calculations and settlement;

• Handle laytime calculations and disputes

• Monitor actual performance daily, identify variances and trends and taking immediate action to correct adverse movements

• Prepare fixture notes, check working and original Charter Party/Addendum, and ensure proper documentation of all contracts;

• All post fixture planning and operations of all aspects of the voyage ranging from understanding the contract / charter party and executing with minimum supervision

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant Diploma/ Degree

• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in similar capacity in shipping.

• Meticulous and analytical with good initiative

• Organized and systematic

• A good team player and able to work independently.

• Organised and with a good sense of urgency.

• Contactable after office hours and willing to work irregular hours.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle ad-hoc requirements.
