Purchasing Executive

Job Description: 

Process Sales Orders – perishables. 

Prepare and process Forecasts, Purchase Orders and enquires to Suppliers. 

Report order discrepancies. 

Raise and follow through Product & Promotional Claims. 

Import declarations – stock. 

Schedule and advise cargo arrivals. 

Monitor for timely delivery of orders. 

Costing of Products. 

Price update backup if CS team lead and assistant are both unavailable. 

Any other duties assigned. 

Requirements: 

Minimum diploma in any related field, preferably related to procurement or equivalent. 

Registered Customs Declarant will be advantageous. 

Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience. 

Familiar with Purchase of Food products. 

Good written and verbal communication Skills. 

Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associates. 

PC Literacy Skills – Microsoft Office with strong Excel knowledge. Knowledge of SAP Hana would be advantageous. 

Independent. 

Fast learner who is meticulous and organized with strong follow up skills. 

Display a positive attitude towards learning. 

Work well under pressure and have no qualms assuming additional responsibilities. Responsible and dedicated to meet tight deadline. 

Effective and good team player and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. 

5.5 work week, alternate Saturday.
