Golf Relations Officer

BENEFITS: – Staff Transport from Simei MRT or morning allowance – Staff duty meal provided Summary of position: – Provide a high level of customer service and assist members and guests with inquires – Assist at Bag Drop area with greeting guests and assisting with golf bags, bag tagging and locker tag – Prepare daily booking sheet and starter sheet – Handle all lost and found items, damage claims and Hole-in- One claims – Update score cards and Handicap index for member and guests in to the SGA Handicap system – Assist in registration during events and tournaments – Assist in preparation of scorecards, bag tag labels, draw list, time slots, event posters, novelty events and event setup – Coordinate events and disseminate instructions to our Golf Course Officers, Golf Service Attendant and Club concierge team – Assist with setting up of scoreboards, display draw lists, score card submission, scoring of events and prize presentation ceremony – Monitor inclement weather with NEA weather systems and adhere to lightning procedure – Assist with Starting and Marshaling the golf course – Update and check notice board details on a weekly basis – Assist with operational set up of all new and current programs and events – In-charge of maintaining a monthly inventory for all stationery and outside operations items. Education/ Experience: High school diploma or one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Knowledge, skill, and Ability Preferences: – Ability to read and speak English fluently is required in order to perform the duties of the job – Golf knowledge and experience is highly recommended – Excellent customer service and communication skills – Works in shifts, must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and six-day work week SALARY: – $1600 – $2200/month depending on experience
