Accounts Assistant - Part-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join us for a 6-months contract. The Accounts Assistant will support the accounting department by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
• Perform data entry and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including preparing invoices and payments.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and summaries.
• Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve invoice and payment issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
