Headquartered in Singapore, Activants specializes in the implementation of business process management, robotic process automation, ML-powered document capture and document management for government, insurance and financial institutions. Our solutions include accounts payable and accounts receivable automation, certifications and accreditations system, customer on-boarding, incentives and grants management, scholarship and awards management system, and insurance claims system. We are looking for a qualified Presale Specialist who is strong in IT presale and contribute to the sales team in driving revenue to the company.

Pre-sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  1. Present the value of profile products to a variety of audiences from C-level to end-users and all levels in between
  2. Contribute to the sales team in driving revenue
  3. Answer requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) at a detailed and professional level
  4. Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations and demonstrations to customers
  5. Provide product expertise and solution blueprints
  6. Work closely with the Sales Director to close deals, supporting the team through the full sales process of solutions engineering and presentation, standard and/or customized solutions demonstration, customer workshop, development of proposals and costings (e.g RFP tender submission), and work with the sales team to address RFI/RFP-related queries from customers
  7. Understand the business and operational or goals the prospect has and recommend a solution that ensures the optimum usage and utilization of Profile products and services; this can include a full pre-sales lifecycle from RFI response/requirement analysis to running a scoping exercise or engage in a prototype/proof of concept for agreed requirements
  8. Having a detailed knowledge of the functionality and technology of the product range
  9. Pro-active in attending to client’s needs, responding to customer’s feedback, and request promptly
  10. Continuous learning and improvement
  11. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  12. Provide weekly report on the status of opportunities to the Sales Director

Pre-sales Consultant Requirement:

  1. Diploma or higher in computer science or relevant field
  2. 3 years of experience in IT sales
  3. Knowledge of BPM, RPA and OCR is a plus
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to an audience from C-Level to End User, clearly articulate the value Profile products will bring to an organization, gain trusted advisor respect, help influence, make well-executed systems presentations, and clearly articulate the product’s value
  5. Must have the willingness to learn Profile products and stay up to date with fast-paced changes
  6. Must be open, flexible and creative in regard to time management and scheduling
  7. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  8. Ability to elicit business requirements from clients
  9. Great understanding of software design and programming principles
  10. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  11. Must be service oriented, able to build rapport with customers, and willing to go the extra mile
  12. Resourceful and adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  13. Strong time management skills and able to complete tasks on schedule
