Temp Executive – Dept Of COMMUNICATIONS - Part-Time

The position is responsible for promoting the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) brand to our stakeholders namely potential students, parents and educators through face-to-face engagement at events such as roadshows and Open House.

The appointee is expected to work with all levels of staff in the various schools and departments in SP.

Responsibilities:-

• Strengthen collaboration with secondary schools to provide education and career guidance to students.
• Organise and execute outreach events to engage SP’s key stakeholders. These outreach events include roadshows, talks at secondary schools and learning journeys for secondary school students.
• Coordinate with SP’s academic schools to support their outreach programmes.
• Manage SP student ambassadors including recruitment and providing training to these ambassadors to ensure they can perform their assigned duties.
• Provide general administrative and operational support.

Requirements:-

• At least 2 - 3 years’ working experience in the field of communications/events management /marketing
• Highly organised, meticulous and strong in project management
• Ability to multi-task and work with tight deadlines
• A team player who is also able to work independently
• Must be adaptable and enjoy engaging and interacting with young people
• Creative and energetic individual with an eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Able to leverage on new outreach tools and tactics
• Working experience in the education industry or a related field or managing partners from educational institutions will be an advantage
• Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop will be an added advantage

Working Hours:

Mon - Thur: 8.30am-6.00pm

Fri: 8.30am-5.30pm

Contract Duration: 11 months starting from August 2024
