Job Description - Debtors Clerk

An established International School is seeking a dedicated Debtors Clerk to join their team on a fixed -term contract for 6 months, with an immediate start.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial administration, with proven proficiency in QuickBooks and debt collection systems. They will possess excellent communication skills for handling customer queries and show the ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities. Previous experience in a school or educational environment will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Managing debt collection of school fees using Jumping Fox.

• Handling billing of school fees and ad -hoc charges on QuickBooks.

• Processing receipts and income transactions on QuickBooks.

• Responding to and resolving customer queries professionally.

• Conducting credit checks on prospective new customers.

• Administering accounts for enrolments and de -enrolments.

• Overseeing debit order payments and ensuring accuracy.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a debtors clerk.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and debt collection systems.

• Excellent communication skills for managing customer queries.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

• Previous experience in a school or educational environment (advantageous).

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
