Job Overview

Signal Hill Products is offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Graduate (In-Service Trainee) to gain practical, hands-on experience in various aspects of financial management within the consumer goods industry. This structured 12-month program is designed for final-year Diploma students who require workplace experience as part of their qualification. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced finance professionals.

Key Focus Areas

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes


• Assist in the analysis of financial data to provide insights that inform business decisions

2. Cost Management

• Monitor and analyze costs related to production, distribution, and marketing


• Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements

3. Financial Control and Compliance

• Assist in ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory requirements


• Support internal audit processes to help safeguard company assets

4. Business Partnering

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales


• Provide financial insights to support and enhance business initiatives

Requirements of the Role Qualification:

• Completed Matric Certificate


• Currently in 3rd year of a Diploma in Public Finance and Accounting at an accredited tertiary institution.


• In need of workplace experience to complete qualification requirements


• Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates who are persons with disabilities
