This role is based at Amandelbult Concentrator, Thabazimbi, South Africa and is fixed term for 12 months

The Project Planner supports senior management in project planning services in

accordance with Valterra Platinum – Project’s Division, Policies, Procedures and Guidelines related to project planning.

Roles and responsibilities include the following:

• Compile and maintain a Project Master Plan and schedule using appropriate company standard software to accomplish this i.e. MS Projects
• Maintain interface with other company systems as appropriate
• Planning and Scheduling as per the related Anglo Platinum Standards, Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Project support with regards to scheduling and planning
• Quality management with regards to scheduling and planning
• Governance with regards to scheduling and planning

This role is on a D1 level reporting to the Section Engineering Manager

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification (preferably engineering discipline)

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years related technical experience in Planning with associated experience of relevant computer systems and software, either directly in the mining industry or in other appropriate industries

Knowledge and Skills

• Computer literate for the role
• Good report writing and people skills
